A Disorderly Change of Command

Our country brags about its orderly change of command, yet both parties practice dirty tricks to block the success of political rivals. It's been going on since the beginning.

The Democrats gerrymandering Connie Morella's voting area out from under her feet some years ago is one example I know of on that side of the aisle.

On the other hand, never have I heard so many distortions made by some Republicans as have occurred since President Obama was elected. They have played "chicken" with our President and held our economy hostage. Instead of "tweaking" what Affordable Health Care needs to make improvements, this group of [election] losers have worked to call it unconstitutional and to repeal it.

They lost the election but refuse to work for what is right for the country. If I were in charge, I'd be naming names and asking the American people to demand why this is happening.

A Standard of Care Independent of Insurance and Pharma Companies

When I'm in charge, there will be a standard of care available to all Americans. No one will be turned away from the best care because they can not pay. Doctors will decide what that standard is and insurance companies will "butt out" of that aspect of it.

The pharmaceutical companies will immediately cut their prices by 30% (or to whatever Canadians pay for the same pill).

FBI and CIA will merge

If I were in charge, the FBI and CIA would merge. It would save the cost of a new building and acknowledge that our world is too small to divide domestic and international affairs.
